I’ve not been around much because politics are stressful and I have enough stress, what with my husband’s health issues, and my own.
My husband is doing...okay. He was in the hospital last month with renal failure, and the extra demand on us has rolled downhill to this month. He must stay in air conditioning, due to his COPD. Right now the air conditioning is out on our one working vehicle, and it’s probably the compressor, which isn’t cheap. And the city just sent us a disconnect notice on our power and water.
What I absolutely need is $500 to pay the city bill, as soon as possible.
What would be nice is an extra $300 to take the truck into the shop and get the compressor fixed, so we can go out in the middle of a summer day without him having an asthma attack.
