Apparently they were a little more on the ball with their disconnects than they used to be.
I can’t cook without water, so we will go out to my mother’s house and cook lunch and dinner there, and fill a gallon jug for the cats. She doesn’t have beds for us overnight, so I will come home tonight and sleep here, and hope they haven’t turned the power off, because he can’t sleep without a/c/.
Hopefully I’ll have enough money by tomorrow I can go up and get it all turned on and pay the reconnect fee as well. One day is doable, but a couple of days will be more difficult, and rather harder to navigate with my mother. This will be hard on my husband too, as he’ll have to ride in the vehicle without air conditioning in the middle of the day.
I already know it’s no good going in without the full amount of the bill. They don’t take partial payments.
