Could some of you give me a boost?

One of the problems with living on a tight budget is that you don’t have room for anything to go wrong. And something did.

Money is tighter now with Girlfriend living here. Three people just eat more than two, there’s nothing to be done for it. While we’re working to get her proof of residency together so that she can get food stamps, at minimum, due to all our chronic illnesses, it just takes a while. She’s waiting on her last disability hearing.

We live in a house built around the turn of the 20th century, and while it’s a good solid little house, at times age means you have problems that can’t be solved by a 50 cent o-ring.  In fact, the hot water in the bathtub is turned off entirely, waiting for us to call a plumber.

I’m not asking for help with that, though. We are managing to sponge bathe and can go elsewhere for showers. We’ll fix it when the estate settles.

Things are tight enough that last month we couldn’t pay the house and the vehicle insurances. But I’m not asking for help with that. We’re going to get the estate money next month, probably, and be able to put things all in order.

But right now I have $200. And I can either buy food for the next two weeks with it. OR I can pay the lights and water bill.

If I let the bill go it will be over $500 next month, and they may shut us off before the disability payment hits and that would be a serious problem. We have too many food allergies to go to food banks. Around here they mostly give premade things like spaghetti sauce and box dinners.

So what I’m asking for is this: My paypal is theladyherself1971@yahoo.com.  If you kind people could drop a little change my way, we could eat for the next two weeks AND pay the light bill. Two hundred dollars is all I need, and I am very grateful to you for whatever you can give.
